Gnome-Kan-Do does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. All data created within the extension (tasks, columns, settings) is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage.local API.

2. Permissions

We request the minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function:

• Storage: To save your Kanban board state locally.
• Context Menus: To allow you to right-click text on a webpage and "Plant a Task".
• Active Tab: Required only when you use the "Plant Task" feature to capture the URL of the page you are currently viewing.

3. Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising networks. It operates entirely offline (except for loading local assets).
