1. Data Collection

Gnomad Capture collects absolutely no personal data.

We do not track your usage, we do not log your IP address, and we do not see what you capture.

2. Local Processing

All processing happens locally on your device.

• When you capture a webpage, the image data is generated by your browser.
• When you stitch images or redact information, it happens in your browser's memory.
• When you export to PDF, the file is generated client-side using JavaScript libraries included within the extension.

At no point is your screenshot or browsing data sent to an external server.

3. Permissions

The extension requests the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• activeTab: To capture the visible tab when you click the extension icon.
• scripting: To inject the code required to scroll the page and capture content.
• storage: To temporarily save your settings (like theme preferences).
